Equip for Equality is the federally mandated, governor-appointed Protection & Advocacy organization for Illinois. It provides legal help for people with disabilities of all ages in Illinois, including self-advocacy assistance. Equip for Equality’s work aims to challenge discrimination, promote inclusion in the community, ensure quality care and safety, and ensure quality special education services through legal advocacy and independent monitoring.
