uControll is a simple intuitive remote control door opener, for decreasing the potential of falls and will increase safety, privacy and independence for those using assistive mobility devices (Walkers, Wheelchairs, Crutches, Scooters, etc.) in a home environment. Control up to six doors with one handheld remote allows movement effortlessly from room to room. The rechargeable battery will last up to three weeks between charges. The easy on and off application of the drive unit to the door allows the uControll system to be used permanently or temporarily, installed without the use of tools and will not mar any door surface.
