Our goals are: education/awareness of kidney disease and methods of treatment for kidney failure, promotion of organ and tissue donations, and support for members of the transplant community (recipients, donors, families, and friends). The Kidney Foundation provides support and advocacy for the dialysis community. The Transplant Support Group meets the first Tuesday of every month, 6:00pm. Currently, the meetings are held at Presence Hospital – Heritage Room, and are part support group, part NKFI Chapter business meeting.
