Community Choices

Community Choices is organized as a cooperative where adults with developmental disabilities and their families support each other. Members of the cooperative share information and resources. Community Choices provides services open to both members and non-members including Community Living, Customized Employment, and Family Support. The Champaign-Urbana Mass Transit District provides fully accessible fixed-route bus service in Champaign, Urbana, and Savoy. AMBUCS, Greater Champaign County

AMBUCS is dedicated to creating mobility and independence for people with disabilities by performing community service, providing AmTryke therapeutic tricycles to children, youth, and adults with disabilities, providing scholarships for therapists, and constructing wheelchair ramps for qualified applicants. Additionally, they assist in development of Ambucs Park in Urbana, an accessible community recreational park.
